Re: Another bloody puncture
I seem to recall a thread round here somewhere that said use a screw to fix a puncture. So what is your problem with this, just tighten it up and it should stop leaking.;)

Re: Another bloody puncture
I see three solutions to this problem Lozzo.
1. Ride harder so you wear the tyres out faster, personally I'd be quite pleased to get 800 miles out of a rear ..... 2. Stop riding on all the hatched areas where all the rubbish collects..... 3. Just accept that occasionally life sucks! |

http://bikerholic.com/2009/04/22/pir...angel-st-tyre/ I wasted a pair of Avon VP2s on the Versys in just under 2000 miles in 2009, but these things should last a fair few thousand miles before needing replacement. I filter in places cars and bikes don't usually go, I won't sit still in traffic if I can see a place to ride and keep moving. Inevitably this carries a risk of punctures, but four on one bike in 2 1/2 years? Life doesn't suck, I could be forced to wear a uniform and call people I dislike "Sir" |
