Doddle mate, sailed through with only 3 minors. Been out on the SV daily since and loving every minute.

Thanks.

Good luck mate, hope it all goes well for you. Just take notice of your instructor and follow his instructions to the letter and you'll be fine. As my instructor said to me, the test is just a game, play by the rules and you won't have any problems. Let us know how you get on.

Paul - now you riding a few weeks, think about it - what aren't you so good at? Corners, maybe?? What bits do you find scary? Motorways?? Don't stop with the Government test, think a bit beyond that. Fine to be confident, but don't get complacent.

Excellent post, I'm seriously thinking about getting additional training, possibly IAM or Bikesafe.

I passed on march 19th and did a bike safe about three weeks later, they helped me out a lot with my road positioning, changing from how were taught for the test and how the best way to ride is. Was a great day, and the bonus being at castle combe was a bit of track time at the end of the day. That also helped loads, having a good surface and not worrying about speeds etc, just got a bit more used to the bike. It's sadly and expensive addiction though. Really keen to do another one now it's been a few months.

Good Luck
