Or if you want a tank bag they do tank bags as well, which can also be used as a tailpack/expansion for backpack or tie several together to increase capacity.

Plus they are waterproof and guaranteed for 10 years. (But expensive)

If you have the money to spend the Kriega stuff is outstanding. - A hard box inside is only required to protect it against a spill.

I think you'll find the 20litre tankbag + straps for around £80 or the 10litre for about £50-60.

Well after spending so much in the past year for the bike I am running short but £50 sounds doable, I'm really not sure about the backpacks anymore after what i heard about them and a crashing. kriegas look a good bet combined with a hardcase that aint the size of a suit case lol

It's a bit more expensive, but this sounds interesting...

Mostly because with the steel mesh and security cable you could leave it on the bike while you were away for short periods. Of course you would still want to add some foam lining.

Might be worth asking Rictus what he uses as I know he sometimes has a camera on the bike.

I borrowed some kreiga kit once, it's not waterproof. If it was a third of the price it would be great, the price it is, was not impressed at all.

All my kriega stuff is waterproof, even tested on the back of the KTM in deep muddy ford crossings:confused:
You are right about the cost though, it is a little steep but I look at it the same way as all my kit, you do get what you pay for.

I don't think you can ford even a katoom that deep :-P but fair enough, I know a lot of people rate it*, personally I would dry bag kit in it to be sure.

*How much of that is people defending what they've spent lots on because of the price tag "oh my kit was wet when we set off!!!" :-P
