Can you post a link to the bolt you bought from Pro Bolt? I cant find the one you meant. I need to fit my B1H shock to my curvy.

Thanks.

Think you made a good choice, certainly the most cost effective solutions. I got a bolt from Pro Bolt to deal with the shock swap. The stock bolt screws into the stock shock where as the ZX shock requires a longer bolt and nut. Just a word of wisdom, always make sure there are no odd gaps anyway after swapping the shock etc out, use washers as spacers otherwise you may snap bits when you get the bolts tightend up properly. I broke the linkage mount on the frame on mine! School boy error but worth a mention!

You could go on a diet - that's cheap and has many benefits including improvement to the suspension

So is the 07 ZX10r shock suitable for a K9S model (without having to modify anything)? Just joined this thread so apologies if this has been asked earlier.

Apparently the 06-07 ZX10 shocks are the only ones with the reservoir in a more perpendicular position which means it doesn't touch the battery box. There may/will be others that will fit but I had to cut nothing to fit mine. I just removed a silly annoying plastic flappy thing. Checkout the SV rider link I posted a few posts up. All the info you need about them there :)

Sorry not sure off hand, just measure the bolts size and thread type, then get one long enough to fit through the shock and still recieve a nut, doesn't want to be too long as it fouls the linkage from memory.

I'm stripping the bike down soon, when I have the bolt in my hands I'll pop it's stats on here for you...

Just looking through me emails, think this fits. I think I got the 50mm one first and that wasn't quite long enough but this was bang on. Obviously got a nut to match.

Don't take my word on it being strong enough, but I can't see why it wouldn't be. Hope that helps.
