I've also bought this screen, going to fit it today and see the difference it makes. What indicators have you gone for?

Tcut just makes the scratches smaller and makes more swirls.

Auto glym is ok for a cheap wax but times have moved on and there are better ones available.

I invested in a random orbit polishing kit (£160) but the results are amazing.

I use zymol carbon wax (£50), small pot but wil last years as you only use a small amount.
The rain beading this creates is amazing and makes cleaning the bike after very easy as most of the dirt (if the wax layers are built up) just washes off with water.

Microfibre cloths are the best to use as they are not aggressive so won't leave swirl marks if used gently.

it makes the bike look even better :) and im not to sure what make the indicators are, got them from a local dealer and threw the packet away, ill try find out later

Because I hadn't washed it.....I decided to experiment with it first, then wash my bike. Its not a very nice thing to use, and I have a doggie walking around constantly. Washing it after made more sense on this occasion so I could get rid of all the stuff that might hurt his paws.



Darren.....you just don't have the nack! :P
You do it twice over on the first occasion for three minutes. Then buff with a bit of autosol. Bearing in mind the bike above has downpipes with a far worse grade of steel than the SV, so are a tw4t to stay clean anyway.

Generally speaking, none. I'd rather be out riding it than polishing it.
