Re: My first bike
3.3k with new service, new mot, new tyres, restricted, new clutch, 3 month warranty 13,000 on the clock. The garage is only down the road from mine so is convenient. Ino I didnt get a bargin but I don't think it was exactly over priced?

I'd of taken it :) that's nice is that buddy. I'd be proud!

Re: My first bike
That's a decent price if its a good one. Even though restricted, be careful in the winter. It isn't the wet you should be most concerned about. Its cold tyres IMO. If its properly raining then you're most likely to ride accordingly and good tyres will grip all day. But slightly wet and very cold roads are tricky especially when the tyres aren't up to temp. So make sure you get some heat in em before you start doing any serious riding.
What a lovely looking bike :) |

Re: My first bike
Cheers pete and thanks for the advise runako. I won't be riding in bad conditions unless I have to as I've got a shed on wheels to shield me from the elements. Not until I've got some experiance anyway

Re: My first bike
Make sure they give you the original unrestricted ecu with the bike. Then when you come to derestrict it you wont have to (expensive)buy one. Also a must if you sell the bike.
