ive also just bought one, and drilled a little hole in the baffle so it sounds like a harley, the lights are crap the handling is limited but then i never ground down the pegs on the sv. since the sv ive had a 1200 bandit and a versys and as lozzo seems to be copying me a harley must be next for him!

Oh I do like the idea of that. May I ask how you did it?

That's how I'd prefer riding if I had one of these too, in case anyone saw me :p

The 1200 kit is a good way to go. If I had room/money for another bike I'd definately get another HD - they are a lot of fun especially 2 up (maybe not on that seat though!).

Hagon make a decent upgraded shocks and fork springs for the 883 if you want to smooth the bumps a bit

Let`s face facts , if a bike has issues then it gives you something forward to spending future dosh on to make it do what you want , there are those that will argue about getting the right bike in the first place and then there are times when a bikes looks will win you over . The pointy was like that for me , it looked great in my eyes (don`t give a t055 what you curvy owners say so zip it and shut ya yaps) . The handling wasn`t great but I soon rectified that with springs and oil up front and a GSXR shock at the back . Half the fun for me was doing the research into what worked and didn`t work . I must have read this forum from top to bottom and eventually found out what would work for not too much money . Sum total came to about £100 and my bike handled nicely . Cost more to sort the wrist ache out but at least the thing went around corners without me having that "Fear of God" look on my face . Have fun with the new ride :) , plenty of options out there to make the road seem brighter and better lit and plenty of handling options .

I've ridden one these, I liked it but it's not for me, I just don't like the vibes, the sound how-ever is awesome.

Hope you enjoy it.

theres stuff on you tube about it if you shine a light down the exhaust you can see the baffle to be drilled i just got a long drill and drilled down the end of the exhaust i suppose the larger diameter drill the noisier it gets
