So is it sorted?

Re: Kwak Repair Rant
Well, it is back and the fairings are on etc but i am a bit baffled to be honest. The groove/circlip/washer are still not visible, and yet the shaft is solid. Who knows, gonna ring the bloke tomorrow. My guess is everything is supposed to be hidden behind the oil seal but will find out tomorrow.

http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps0af8707c.jpg No wonder i couldn't pull the shaft out far enough to fit the circlip, it's about 10 inches down the shaft!!! Probably explains why i haven't had a phone call from a sheepish mechanic either. Oh well, everyone makes mistakes just glad to have it sorted. Sorry Joe didn't check the thread again till now, will go this week sometime if you like. |
Re: Kwak Repair Rant
I don't know, should have managed to get that circlip on they sent you.
Ride round your way next then...bet you won't let anyone have a go again. Phone call...but we did put one on the first time, must still be in there somewhere. ;-) |
Re: Kwak Repair Rant
