There should be one in each leg.

Lifesavers! Can't believe I missed it in the bottom of the fork leg!!

Only a short update.

The ZX6R damping bolt is huge compared to the SV bolt (ZX6R left, SV right)

Just the ends of each fork leg for a visual reference in size

So called up a local company called Qprep in Oundle (have heard great things about them) and they're happy to mill the bottom of the SV forks to accommodate the new damping rod bolt. They're also going to make the recess, inside the forks, bigger for the oil lock piece to sit.

Hopefully won't cost too much!

Can't do a lot now until they call me back saying that they're ready. Hopefully will be sometime later in the week, but in the meantime any ideas, tips, comments are welcome!

Stay tuned! :smt023

Fook that for a game with the oil locks, you don't need them and trying to bore that out won't be cheap.

Ah..... I'll trust your judgement and give them a call! So just leave the oil locks out? Won't cause any leaking at all?

you could also just make comp valve holders that take stock bolts :)

Would that raise the hole damper unit inside the fork leg though? I had thought about something similar but decided against it for that very reason

Depends how you make them and whether you use literally stock bolts or just stock diameter bolts to save milling legs.

Hmmmmm very good point, but I'll stick to them milling it out, they said that was the easy part! :-D
Maybe a possible venture for someone else looking at doing a similar fork hybrid to this?

Just a tiny update this week, the fork legs are nearly done, only costing £20 per leg (happy days)
Should get them back later this week, will hopefully get into the garage one evening or next week!
