Mine is parked on a street as well, nor does it have an immobiliser. The reduction in insurance from having an immobiliser was no way near the cost of the immobiliser!

I'm a good boy though, clean licence

Just dont at any point announce to any RSPCA members that you ride a K9, that could get you in trouble

:D I'm with MCE as they were the cheapest and also they will sort out claims a lot quicker than Bennetts and others- proven with experience!

Give them a bell! They sometimes have had a problem with the quote system on the web site but I believe it's fixed- nicer to talk to someone over the phone though!

And usually cheaper than the on-line quotes. No, I don't understand it either

Just use the on-line quotes as a guide...............and ring 'em to get the real numbers

Good advice Jabba, and it's what I did. Though I've been on bikes for donkey's years, I had a three year break so have no NCB. Got a load of quotes on line and then did the phoneing with the best of them.

MCE were about £20 above the lowest quote, but the bloke said "£20 is still £20, lets see if we can do better". They ended up £5 cheaper, but I think I still would have gone with them even if they hadn't been able to lower their quote - their attitide 'seemed right' if you know what I mean.

If there's no claims or anything, then they'll probably never find out. If something happens and they do figure it out, then you could be screwed.
