Enjoyed it  My mates did all the driving so I just sat back and relaxed  Went on the first saturday...got there at about 09h30 and got in at 10h00. Had a burger(HUGELY EXPENSIVE!) Spotted Billy and Tim and then proceeded to look at various stands and the usual bits and bobs. I really liked the ZX10R and the new gsxr 750 :notworthy:  :D :D For some reason, the 675 daytona did not really impress me? Nor did the new R6 (Although the riding position was good)
Also liked the 999R and S versions

I went on the first Sunday but I had been going to Mallory Park!
Riding up the M1 and the heavens opened and plan B came into operation.
NEC it was then.Got to take issue about the totty-------The TWO stand was well decorated and I got a signed Tshirt ( Messrs Whitam and Mac)
Bought a new Shoei X Spirit for an arm and a leg but it was £80 cheaper than the BMF.Result.ZX9R weaves at !00 MPH+ with Shoei helmet box strapped to pillion seat in a crosswind. :D

I got a Caberg V2 helmet, a forcefield back protector and a Micron front paddock stand. A few other small bits and pieces but a more expensive day than I intended. 8)

I was my fist show for a couple of years (well 5) and i enjoyed the day. went on an organised trip with my dealer and the bloody coach was late
The Triumph 675 was a jewel!! very tiny but seemed a big bigger when i sat on it, I even liked the stubby exhaust on the R6.

I wasn't very impressed with the new 600 Suzuki nor the k6 blue colour glad I got a K5 :)

I Bought myself a Knox stowaway back protector but most other prices were the same as the dealers

PS the R+G stand were bloody rude to me when i queried the correct torque for their crash protectors.

Yep, loved that one too, and I could actually touch the ground on it properly! Did you see the R6? I really liked that too, and it was also small enough for me to touch the floor.

Had a great time at the show and came away with a new Rukka jacket and some Racer gloves, got an excellent deal on them.

I have a funny picture of the misses on the R6 with here handbag hanging from her wrist. She could touch the floor but she preferred the riding position of the GSR. I tried the R6 but I just reconfirmed that I am far too big and fat for full on sports bikes, I just perched uncomfortably on the top. The Mille was one of the few sports bike I actually felt comfortable on which is why I wanted Aprillia to be there to se if that was still the case with the new RSV-R.

I also sat on a Rocket III, that thing is just huge and feet forwards sees very weird.

I went on the Tuesday. I've not been to a bike show before and enjoyed this one a lot - spending about 6 hours there. It was good to get to sit on the 675 as I'd already put a deposit on one. I liked the black R6R as well aprt from the crap tail bit.

I had only bought the 2 Twist of the Wrist books and was just leaving the show when I stumbled across the Scott's Leathers stand. I ended up buying a Reflex one piece for £350 reduced from £600. Hadn't intended to buy one, but I wa amazed to get such a good fit and drive a hard bargain as well.

I was interested to see how weird that felt and sat on some Harley lookalike on the Honda stand - how bizarre! The whole thing felt totally wrong! :?
