Ah, wait, when I said "behind it" I didn't mean actually behind it, just... behind it. I reckon the small and lithe could manage it though. If I tuck in that far I'd have to look through the top of my lid.

Cut a hole in it then, less weight on the bike too, so a mod I advise you declare to your insurance company because it increases overall speed of the bike!

(can you tell it's almost time for me to go home?)

Edit: Actually, before someone goes ahead & does it... do not under any circumstances alter your helmet by cutting/drilling/hammering/etc, please.

I vote for a Fabbri as well, mine is dark tint and I have a dark visor in the day. I normally look over the screen but I can still see road through the screen.

Didn't have that much problem with wind blast from the original screen. Apparently "I ride with my chin on the tank", was a comment given to me at a rideout.

Dark Fabbri for me too, can see through it when I can be bothered to scrunch up which is rare and only on trackdays. Although "on a private road" to catch the euro tunnel the other day me and the SV managed a comfyish cruise at 180 km/h, which I definitely attribute to the screen. Droppping down to 160 km/h on other private roads and you are in the comfort zone (sat uprightish), with little difference to 100 km/h (60 mph), I find it that good.

Just done Fort William to Paisley on Monday

104 on the clock.

Done 1st leg to work this morning got to 130 so far........no light!!!!

So I am expecting it on the return from work today.

No bubble, no mods, easy riding keeping around 6k revs smooth accelerating and braking/ downshifting.

Cheers

Fabbri DB for me, made a big difference to high speed comfort. Can't say it did anything for the mpg though. Maybe you have shoulders like a billboard, I know I don't!

No, if I have my chin on the tank I look through it but most of the time I have my head a little higher so I can peer over the screen.

Quite fancy a DB and this thread has reinforced that but would like to get an iridium one. 8)
Fabbri don't seem to do one and the powerbronze is almost double the price of the airblade one. Opinions?

I have a dark tint airblade fitted on mine, not as big as the double bubble as far as I can make out on pics, but it has made a difference on the motorway... my head no longer looks like a noddy dog on the back shelf of a car.

Got to 150.4 before the light came on today.

Filled up at 155, put 12 litres in.

Probably another 4 to 4.5 in the tank so I reckon I'd have gotten

to around 200? Or is that just wishful thinking?

Still can't be /-\rsed doing the running it dry excercise.

Cheers
