But think about it, they had the chance to recitfy the problems with the TL and trade on it's bad ass image. They wussed out.

I was thinking something along those lines yesterday, I was thinking I'd love to have something curvy with more grunt than the 650, but I'd be scared to climb on a TL1000... :roll:

I've looked at getting one, but they were never perfect. It'd be more of a money pit than the most tarted up SV.

Was thinking of one myself a while back but the pitiful tank range put me off. Okay, so the firestorm wasn't that much better for tank range but it could at least get past 100 miles without telling me it wanted more. :lol:

You know that everytime we have this "discussion" .. it's very clear that Curvy's win hands down ;)

*and for extra amunition* .. and it just goes without saying that Blue Curvy's are by far the most superior bike around...
