It's only a toy like i said, i still have my SV for the 120 mile commute. If it breaks down i get it fixed during the week so it's ready for the next weekend.

Have to say Liz, that's a very nie bike... I tested a 749 a couple of years ago and was surprised how quickly it revved (and how warm my backside got in traffic  )

Just the tool for riding the Alps

I too have to say that the style isn't to my taste, but I well know that feeling of 'heeheeheeee it's MINE!' so congrats on your new toy.

May it bring you many big grins and small garage bills.

Anyway, as you know Dukes are not my thing - but congrats on getting what you wanted Liz !! :D

Are you sure you got it for being a 'good' girl though ? I always thought it was the 'bad' girls who got the expensive pressies !!

Well what can I say? Liz you have chosen a truly excellent machine there.(Of course I would say that as I have the same but mine is an old banger approaching 3 years of age!)

If you can't have fun riding one of these, then fun is not for you. I wish you as many grin filled miles as I have enjoyed, and continue to do so )with mine.

I hope you dont reach the same dilemma as me, what on earth do I buy after my 749? This is the only bike I have owned that I would gladly keep with no concern over it's age. 8) :)
