I want to know how clean it is now you have had it for a few weeks...

Kwak, stick with it, you'll love it.
I went from a ZZR1100 to a SV650 (two scooters between) and rode a ST1100 for work and then onto a TL1000s and then the SV. They are all very different in many ways. I've now gone from the SV1000s to a Busa!! Now that it a BIG HP hike!!! As I found out at Silverstone with the back end spinning up out of the bends. |
One thing apart from the throttle controll demanding a tad more finesse is that you also have a heavier bike, its also got different suspension settings. Stick with it, you will get used to it and riding it in more inclement conditions will teach you to ride it with respect. When the sun comes out you'll be a much improved rider.
When I got my Gixer thou in mid October (when it started to rain, and still is) and thats got a claimed 100 ponies more on tap than my SV had and weighes less, I was initially slower on roads that I knew well on the SV, it's taken a while to get used to it but I'm probably as quick (read very careful and slow) in most scenarios that I was on the SV now, on the open road maybe ever so slightly quicker  Stick with it! |

I think that most people who have the Busa don't corner but the bike can, believe me! Ok, it's not the best track bike (that's why I have the SV track bike) but it's ok to be honest. |
the one thing i noticed that was defiantly better is the smooth spread of power in 1st and 2nd, the thou will do 5mph in second if you want it to right the way up to about 80mph! this pleases me as i'm not a fan of manic gear changing.

i need the summer and some dry warm tarmac.
