oh bugger! sorry to hear this, like has been said it could happen to anyone :?

ouch

Sorry to hear that

It's been icy up our way too (Gloucestershire). I used the car this morning (Smart ForTwo 700 turbo with re-map, ITG air filter, Janspeed Stealth exhaust, etc.), and the turbo-lag caught me a bit on a sharp, smooth bend in 3rd. Boost came in sharpish (rear-wheel drive) and she understeered towards the kerb on the icy road. managed to be very smooth and pull it through, but on the bike I would have been down.
Jon.

Okkk..spooky, just noticed that on the 8th of this month-last year- i fell off a horse and ended up visiting hospital..
Hmm dont think Feb is a good month for me

Bumm3r!!

One thing I would check is that the clipon is straight (these bend pretty easy) and that the front brake leaver isn't fractured ... give the clipon and leaver a good tug to check them out for structural integrity, kick the exhaust and footpeg etc stright and you are away by the sounds of it!! 8)

Seriously if you get a blowtorch out to heat the leaver/peg etc, to 'anneal' it (heat up and rub soap on it, if it goes black that is enough heat ... let it cool and bend it) there is a good chance you can bend it all back without it snapping. :)

Were you wearing leathers or a miniskirt at the time!?!!? :D

I'm really sorry to hear about this, the important thing is that you are OK.

Take things easy for a day or two and mind those bruises.
