Well tried most things mentioned here chaps with thanks.
But still no joy, looks like i will need either a impact gun to shock it or get the tool.
Pete how much did the tool cost out of interest?

Well as i have said, out of all the forks i've done before this has certainly turned a 2 hour job into nearly a full day. :(

Cheers.

It's always the same. A whole motrobike ruined because of some damn bolt.

Trick is not to get mad and feck something else up too!

Here's hoping you get it sorted!

As I said, I've a cheap 12v impact gun (runs off the vehicle battery, or ciggy lighter socket), I've even got one for the mrs to change wheel nuts (and she's a 5' nothing girl) cost about £15-20 or so, a good investment.

Cheers Mark.

Cheers.

The T handle was under a tenner (bargain by OEM standards) the "attachment" was 17 quid (not a bargain as it's only a serrated cone shaped 3/8th drive socket.)

Don't think it would be any better than the homemade tools previously described.

Cheers Mark, better invest in one.
As the forks go, given up to be honest i personally think loctite has been used as all other bolts i removed had loctite on.
The stanctions are pitted badly to a certain degree so really going to look around for another set.
And keep these as spares.
