Seriously though ... My morning ritual consists of removing the visor from the lid, then placing 2 pieces of bounty (kitchen roll) folded in half and soaked in warm water, over the visor and the front of the lid. Leave them whilst I make my butties for the day, and have my breaky ... then remove (along with all manner of bugs n crap), and wipe clean and dry with another piece of Bounty kitchen roll :) Job done - no detergents required :)

Hope you get a satisfactory response from AutoGlym tho!

I use the little bottle of auto-gleam that comes with the visor cleaner stored under the seat with a pack of screenies to clean my visor of bugs mid ride or whenever needed. At home I simply use warm water, fairy liquid.

One pack of visor cleaner has lasted me 3 helmets without ill effect. Maybe it is because I always remove the visor to clean, so no chemicals actually come in contact with the helmets. I also tend to treat visors as disposable items anyway. Tinted for summer, clear for winter.
