Enjoy the break. I'm sure more work will turn up.

Went to buy some new waterproof boots for the bike, the old ones leak like a sieve. The guy kindly volunteered to check their system for info on when I bought the last pair.
He can print the receipt and claim on warranty for me. Result.

Downside is I need a pair while the old ones go back. Upside is that I had planned to buy a new pair, so I can now consider going upmarket a bit and get the cash back later. Or get new gloves in a few weeks time.

Is that a Stinger partly hidden by your mirrors?

I nearly bought an MT a couple of years ago but got temporarily got seduced by a Street Triple (it was just a fling - didn't mean anything). The only thing I didn't like about the MT was the big exhaust collector box (on the stock exhaust).

I'd need a sedative for the colour of those wheels though ;)

It's a special edition :p I really enjoyed the hour I had it, stock exhaust sounded nice enough with the crossplane P-Twin but £300 will transform that and save a few kg, + some normal mods like fender extender, tail tidy, hugger etc that I like on my bikes.

Yamaha were telling me they're so popular they can't get any in for the shop floor, the demo 07 was sent specially

Yep Trev, I was admiring it on the way out. Stunning is not a word I would associate with KIA, but they really raised the bar for a "sporty" saloon. I was in the mood for a spirited ride before the rain came so didn't hang around too long.

Got Google assistant on my phone today.
Oh my!
Tell it who to call, who to text and what. Ask it anything.
My life just got 1000 times easier and my phone suddenly seems as if its 10 light years into the future.
Only have to turn it on by hand. Most everything else by talk .
:D

We have a Google Home Mini and it is really useful. Although I'm probably not using it for half the things I could do.

Really?

I'm about 25 mile away from you and it's lashing it down!

Got out yesterday for first ride this year, nice and sunny and about 9 deg, we had floods in our area in preceding week so was a bit of mud on road, a surprising amount of which got onto the bike. Looks like 2 hours riding and 2 hours cleaning ! Didn't fall off so have not lost all my skills over what seems like 'the winter that went on for ever'.
