They could have done had I not been legal on the bike. The PITA is the fact I was, but my insurance company were being so crap that it took an insurance investigator to sort it all out.

Shame the insurance investigator can't investigate the principles of conservation of momentum in a little 250 bike versus van scenario. Although all the p*ssing around with insurance must have sent the driver up the wall.

Hell, I got rear-ended while *on* a 250 and I didn't get whiplash.

The partially-dislocated shoulder's been fun ever since, mind.
