I am going to try and make the full run this year. 263 mile round trip on the Gixxer - Any travelodges on Gt Western Rd ?

I have a couple of ideas (more than enough for me)


A - http://goo.gl/maps/gJaA7 its a little different to normal and some of the roads are V narrow but it gives some amazing views


B - http://goo.gl/maps/efYLT the normal route we take for this.


I'm guessing it could be a case of see what's happening on the day, First stop will probably be at the Pit Stop in Arrochar.

If Ecosse was a democracy, this would get my vote. The simple fact of the matter is we don't get to Tighnabruaich often enough. Or indeed ever!

Proper all day route mind you, so sucking and seeing might very well be the thing.

Kinda just opposite direction round the argyle bit. Well I think it is I haven't checked the routes in a wee while.

This event is starting to look pretty big in the window. Yippee!

A couple of tiny details, hardly worth mentioning, that I'm missing. My fault entirely I'm sure.

Where & when are we meeting and what route are we taking?
