Cold wet day here so a good opportunity to stay home and cook.

This is my ragu sauce. Good beef, carrots, mushrooms, onions, garlic, herbs, lots of really high quality tomatoes, beef stock, red wine, sugar, Worcester sauce and my secret ingredient, tamarind paste. It takes 4 hours to cook, then you have to leave it overnight to rest. I'll turn some into lasagne made with mascarpone cheese and parmesan, the white sauce made from scratch, no jars of ready made stuff full of palm oil in my house.

I've also made dough for the garlic bread, it rises very slowly in the fridge overnight and that will make pizza bases too [emoji3]

Was it shot or just found,I know the are supposed to make good eating if they are hung for a week and cooked with the giblets in,not tried it myself.There is also a very fine "pin" feather on the elbows of the wings that artist use for fine lines,they also like to fly at night especially when there's a full moon,the c r a p I carry around in my head sometimes give me a headache !!!

Didn't bite me when I picked him up and was just starting to go stiff.
No signs of injury and was surprisingly dry.
Near a forest drive with very little traffic, but as we all know: it only takes one car . .
