A R1/Blade is the logical progression, however if i ever felt i could trust Ducati, i might try something at the upper end of their scale.

Yamaha FZ1 Fazer.

R1 engine, upright enough to soothe my getting old bones and knackered knees. Frickin fast and with an Akrapovic can on, sounds awesome...

If your still locked in to the old wives tales ballox about Ducati fella, then one is definitely not for you. Best leave them for those that really appreciate what Ducati is about.;):p:p

I've just seen a really good offer on a 675. Not the SE, sadly:cry:

Yeah - I'm another one for a 1050 Speed Triple, mmmmmmmmmm.

But... and it's a big, fat,, wide-load jogging bottoms are the only things that fit and the wearing of anyting containing lycra is waaaaaaay out of the question sized butt...

... only if I can keep the 'Blade too.

Otherwise I may have to settle for a Transalp. ;)

Oh yeah - and they're both below a nice little foriegn number with very limited bhp - one hp to be exact...http://www.airliteusa.com/images/bui.../arabiansm.jpg

I really like the idea of owning a VFR800, i think the latest shape model is out of my reach, but the previous model (the first FI models) look like they are in my price range. I'm hoping that if im careful, I can have one by next november
