Re: Please forgive me.
I drove Mr Lou to work today, he's usually on the CG to commute.

Re: Please forgive me.
Had a 40 - 50 mph off at the start of the freeze, I'm still as stupid as ever and still going to and from work on the bike. As long as I can keep the bike upright on the mile of ice coming out of my village then the rest of my commute is gritted A and B roads.
As I've learnt, keep out of the car tracks, keep to the centre of the road and if the bike feels like it slipping then ease off the throttle and start saying those prayers to the big man above. [-o< |
Re: Please forgive me.
BA, not harm in being a fair weather ride. Getting a power rangers suit too?? ;-)
I've put the bike away for winter, first time but feeling the cold now I'm getting old and frail |
Re: Please forgive me.
I am NOT going to be a warm weather rider. Just had to let common sense prevail.

Re: Please forgive me.
It didn't feel as cold this morning and I was perfectly warm on the bike. I haven't even put the winter insulated liners in my textiles yet and I didn't event bother with the heated vest this evening.
I'm still toying with the idea of heated glove liners for when it does get really cold. |
Re: Please forgive me.
I've forgotten what it means to have to go outside...
 My neighbour knocked tonight to find out if I'll be going to our resident's meeting tomorrow night... I was more interested in the fact that our breath steamed up in the cold as we spoke. The Tesco driver also dragged me down to open the door when he delivered my food... brrr! As did the postman delivering a package... Is it winter or something out there? *note to self- savings will only last so long... |
