I might give this a go, I've had a couple of muc-off products and been underwhelmed with their ability. |
Re: S-Doc 100
As I said earlier mine arrived the other day and I finally had a chance to use it yesterday.
Absolutely brilliant stuff. Sprayed it on, went for a coffee and washed off with the sponge priovided. There was no scrubbing required on anything at all. Not even the wheels which normally require WD40 and elbow grease to get rid of filng and road deposits. I think I was a bit over zealous with it and used too much, but I got it on a bogoff. This is my new cleaner of choice. I don't have a jket wash but it would be even easier with this or a hose with a jet fitting.....great stuff! |

Re: S-Doc 100
Yes mate - bike looks beautiful until the commute tomorrow am, when my fresh lube gets re-flung everywhere.
I used almost 3/4 of a bottle, even on the bit that normally don't get really dirty, which on reflection should've saved it for the dirty/sticky bits. Good stuff. |
Re: S-Doc 100
Used mine for the first time on Saturday, should've taken before and after pictures, my bike was caked with months of salt/mud/crud etc all baked into the ACF-50. It all came off really easy with the S-Doc, even got my chain sparkling!
I did use a fair bit as well though...also, think it may have started my SV650 stickers peeling :( |

Re: S-Doc 100
Yep...can't avoid the overspray with a fully faired bike and it says on the instructions that it enhances bodywork/plastics, especially on dark colours (mines black).

Re: S-Doc 100
So on that basis would you say it would be good to use the gel on the bike, except with the plastics / painted parts use the spray form.....as I have both.

Re: S-Doc 100
Dc - I didn't use it on my plastics, but mainly because my plastics get 2 coats of wax every week, so even when dirty a bucket of water and Autoglym shampoo and a sponge sorts that.
The engine, and all rounf the back of the bike gets covered in crud and really needs someting and this did the trick. |

I have the gel spray which I bought from HG for £13, it's the gel but with a pump spray applicator and a small sponge. |
