Re: My new SV 650 S
It is yes. Problem is those fences are next to horrendous ground, bumpy and overgrown by weeds.
I am not sure it is "that bad" there, I know it is not ideal but I see lots of bikes on display in the street, at least mine is down a dark country road and not very visible... (actually that could make it worse) |
Re: My new SV 650 S
Can't you secure it to your car or to that fence that is in the photograph?

Re: My new SV 650 S
Not really - that car is one of many in that communal parking layby. No guarantee where any space will or wont be when riding.
The fence is railway property and also the area by the fence is very scruffy, undulating and overgrown etc. Even then it is a very flimsy fence - a "pathetic" border that is bendy and poorly made. |
Re: My new SV 650 S
LOL I know that layby.
Been down there a few times. |
Re: My new SV 650 S

Could you put a chain round the telegraph pole/Bus stop overnight to secure it ? |
Re: My new SV 650 S
No, cant improve the current situation. I have had loas of grief about where I leave it from my neighbours, even though it is communal parking. Its very unwelcome amongst the residents and could not block the pavements etc

Re: My new SV 650 S
Looks very good condition! Although regarding the price i paid £1950 for an almost identical bike from a private seller. Main dealers are rip off merchants if you ask me!

Re: My new SV 650 S
Oh and if you wanna replace those nasty head and sidelight bulbs, go here... www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk for some upgrade headlight bulbs (or hid kit if u can stretch that far) and led sidelights.
