Just took a couple of pics as mine was out because it was leaking. K-Tech sorted it and a jammed rebound needle this morning.

I run 25 mm of preload on an uprated spring

Both rings at the top, and spring is free. You may need to pull on the shock to fully extend it Dyzio.

Collar off. Spring just slides down. Easy.

Cheers!!! That looks doable :)

One more thing, I'm ~80 kg in normal clothes (nokia says it's 12.59st), did I guess the spring rate right (80Nm), and where do I get one?

Our last spring from K Tech was £24 plus VAT. I'm sure if you gave them a ring, told them which bike and your weight, they could recommend the right weight spring for you. I guess with postage you'd be looking at around £40 quid for the spring.

Funnily enough, Pete picked up a Demon Tweaks catalogue today, and in that the K Tech springs are from £75 quid!

Might pay to go direct to K Tech, methinks!

MC technics said around 65 quid for the sprung. Will phone K-tech.

That would explain your weirdness with the adjuster.

Yes YC, some grit by the needle. New needle, gasket and labour. 36 quid. Not too bad. And they did it while I waited too.

Just got to get it set up right again:(
