Re: How did you pay for your bike?
Cash always.
The only time I would consider finance is if it were 0% and I could keep my cash gaining interest in an account whilst paying it off. Finance is a mugs game, especially at the moment with the stupid high rates. |
Re: How did you pay for your bike?
1/3rd my own cash, 2/3rd loan (but from family though, so no interest thank God!) Next one will be all cash though. The savings are mounting (like tortoises, but still giggidigiggidi)!

Re: How did you pay for your bike?
Oooh, it's painful looking back at this:
2nd hand K3 SVS - cash New K7 GSX-R600 - cash 2nd hand F2 CBR600F - cash New K8 GSX-R750 - cash They were all bought within a 2 year period, it was a rather large sum in total when I look at it :? and I only sold one of them (the SV!). Luckily I haven't bought any bikes in the ~2 years since though! *cheer* |
Re: How did you pay for your bike?
Bikes were all cash
I bought my car with a credit card. I just wasn't comfortable walking around with over £10k in cash. |
Re: How did you pay for your bike?
1st Bike - YBR 125 PayPal balance
2nd Bike - SV650 pictures of Lizzie 3rd Bike - 848, had 6k as budget and the rest of the money saved but took 0% as it was er!....cheap! But in true answer worked hard, saved hard. Had been putting away before I started riding, rainy day and all that. nb650 |
Re: How did you pay for your bike?
Only bought one bike, and that was outright cash. Hope it to stay that way for future bikes unless I come across a bike with 0% APR but still then I'd have the money there taken from a seperate account, just earning interest in the mean time :)
