what about photocopying the real one and keeping it under the seat, the putting the copy in the holder, that way if some no*ber nicks it you still have the original and it will be pretty hard to spot the copy on a bike.

i brought a bike back from Germany quite a few years ago and it sat for a few years in a garage at my in laws. My father in law and his mate decided to strip the bike and rebuild it after it sitting so long.
I needed to take it for an MOT prior to getting it taxed and registered. I had insurance (using chassis number) and had booked into a test centre. I checked with the police before I went as i was riding a bike with no MOT or tax or number plate. I was very surprised that i didn't get stopped. But i didn't. |
