TBH you know what your options are now.
Break the bits that are left and get back what you can.
Or
Fix it up and keep it until your restriction is up. ( this gives you longer to improve it and make it all round tidier) then sell for a decent price??

Leave the lad alone, although Barwel, like I said earlier, keep it, do it up, ride it, and appreciate it, as personally (and don't take offense) I really think you need to. Some of the posts you have made, make people assume you are a tad spoilt.

We've all been there, after binning our bikes, come on it took me 2.5k on top of the 2k I paid for my yellow SV to turn it from a rusty turd, to a blinging gorgeous bike......wouldn't swap her for the world now, AND I appreciate her much more.


This is on top of paying a mortgage, having a child, two dogs, three cats etc etc etc. We all have to do it sometime, and usually with no backup cash wise from parents as loans.

AS I've said in other posts - it's 'worth' what someone will pay for it, not what you spent on it or what you want for it.

Looks like people might be prepared to pay £500 - there's your answer

well i have just spent 1600 geting my naked pointy back on the road ... stupid me lol .... the bike only cost me 2600 with just over 1000 miles on it ...
but hey ho one thing led to another,

but i think i would be lucky to scrape 1700 for mine and that's with a GSXR front end ..
and its only got 4000 miles on it its a K5.

you would make more braking it the condition its in now ... your not looking at much ..... you need to check the steering stops as well as i had crash at not high speed and one of mine is cracked.
