Ah Phil, it'll be a disappointment after mine ;) haha
Although you should've really had a blast on it from fish hill though. Get a better bash on it.

Honestly though, these bikes are awesome...anyone who meets up with me a some point is more than welcome to have a go.
The only niggle is the tank range, I get 90 miles to dry so the bigger tank is definately on the horizon. Apart from that it's the perfect bike for me.

Pic of mine if anyone is interested how the red 1100S looks:

Fook me backwards they really are a nice looking bike.

Do they have a heavy clutch, a serious gripe of mine with italian exotica. I would really like one of these.

Re: YAY... My New Bike :D

Clutch is heavy compared to most other non ducatis...however after a few hundred miles you develop the muscles to compensate.
If you really can't handle it though you can actually remove 2 springs which lightens the clutch considerably and still works fine.
If you are concerned with running with 2 less springs you can also get an aftermarket clutch slave cylinder which lightens the clutch considerably too. It's a bolt on part too so real easy to fit. Just fit and bleed the system.

Yeah that's why I asked.

I had an RSV and the clutch made me cry in traffic. I got a clutch slave from Germany, and had to bleed it every 200 miles to make it useable. I had a go on my mates 998 and just said fook that as at was worse than the RSV before I modded it.

Something about Italian bikes. They look like sex, but god the Clutches are heavy.

The test ride I had on one was a good two hours and I didn't think the clutch was overly heavy. Certainly didn't notice it as I didn't write about it in my write up.
