Got back yesterday - soaked - Almost caught up Gerbrox at Stirling but not quite thou Chucca didn't pass me which was good :-)

Managed to go flying past a bike cop about 80 but I had just appeared from behind a caravan so I assume he realised that I was just doing to get to get past and get visor cleared again.

However the idiots in Focus's just continue!

Twas a good weekend and Yup Chucca you missed it!! as always I may just get some photos up

Left campsite at midday, Iain and me home safe by 6pm last nite. Got pished on every minute of the journey. Massive, probably 300+ queue tailback at Corran due to a diesel spill sending a Caterham into a tree, split the car in two. A real mess. Hope he is ok, spoke his mate who warned us about the diesel pool. Thank-you!
Lunch in Ft Bills then onwards with relentless rain. Stormforce winds on Skye and proper chucking it down (well sideways really!) at which point my boots gave up the fight and let the weather in. Walked in the door to the aroma of homemade tandoori chicken. Fabbo.

Great fun all weekend long, thanks all for the continued excellent GM experience. Roll on GM V!

Typically, sunny n calm today but my gear will take a week to dry.

I dont know DB, I was just following sv4me :) We went through a village centre up a 90 degree vertical (ok maybe not but it was very steep) cobbled street and I was just hoping the car in front didnt stop :D We stopped just outside the village, then chatted for ages while getting eaten by flys. Then parted ways and neary died as previously mentioned!

Ar$e is fine, arms feel like they are made of jelly! I regretted the decision to leave about 10 mins after I left lol. Kept the speed up to keep it interesting. Lots of stops to wake up and stretch!

Leanrt a lot, was a great experience and would do it all over again next week if I could. Looking forward to exploring more of the Scottish roads!

At least now I can judge how I cope with distance riding :) which is not very well :D

I'm sure I will :)

The road I continued on after we parted ways led me to a terrific road in the hillside, with cattlegrids and roaming suicidal sheep, if that helps you pinpoint the road ;) I'm fecking useless with directions/road names and geography in general.

Its 34c here in harlow right now according to my car themo - just to think yesterday I was freezing my titties off in the rain....

EDIT: We parted wasys here:

Sounds like Alston, Hongman, was there about 5.30 & then on to Middleton in Teesdale. Some barsteward had woken all the sheep up and they were inspecting each other's back ends. :o
Beaten me to it, Hongman.
