Re: MMM, I'm feelin peckish
We've just finished the last of the turkey.
Xmas day was the usual. Boxing day- butties with stuffing for lunch with roast Herefordshire pork for tea. Tuesday- turkey chowder for lunch, same for tea with my home made bread. Yesterday- the pigs in blankets re heated on toast with fresh eggs (thanks Polo) for breakfast, with turkey curry for tea with chopped fruit, peanuts and mango chutney. Today- out for breakfast, sweets for lunch, then the last of the bird for tea in a white wine, onion and cream sauce with veg. I love Christmas for the cooking. Dad and I spend time drinking home brew and chatting over the cooker. I rarely use recipes, just go by how t feels! Pete ;) Ps, salads for the next month. |
