Mine's a 2006 955i that had 9 years of service since the T595 was released in '97, for any issues to be ironed out, and so far mine's been 100% reliable ;)

The 1050 engine's had some issues, especially the early ones, but they've sorted it now, and I'd say all things Triumph are very reliable nowadays. The days of the Triumph name being a byword for an oily boot are long gone, that stems from the 70's and 80's when compared to the new jap bikes, all British bikes were ****.

I am very impressed, only one comment on the lines of 'bag of spanners' which is hubby's usual comment, I always say yes when she wakes up she does sound a little tiny bit rattly, but she is beautiful once she wakes up.

"Tiny bit rattly"......hmm, when it's warm! When it starts up I am happy to confirm all the worst anti-Ducati comments - it sounds like a bag of spanners. A large, rattly bag of Italian spanners. And then backfires and splutters for the next 3 miles. Still, it always puts a big smile on her face so I shouldn't be too rude about it!:smt057

He thought I would not go back to the thread once I had looked at it this evening, time to go now I am about to have 'words' with hubby, 'a large, rattly bag of Italian spanner', I don't think so!

LOL
Welcome to the .org!
Nice bike even if it does require a bit more spannering than an SV. ;)
