That... Is ********. Well, it's technically accurate but misses it doesn't replace the payment protection options that most visa providers offer. They can't stop the payment, but they can charge it back.

Really sorry to hear about the bad service. Best of luck in getting it resolved.

As to the electric problem, I had a wee bit of bother last year. Bike wouldn't start but everything else was OK. It turned out that the wires in the clutch lever switch had just worked their way loose a bit and needed pushing back in. Mr SidSquid was jolly obliging in this instance for nipping over and fixing in 10 seconds what it took the AA 45 minutes (and a 3 hour wait) not to fix.

Best of luck...

u do realise if u were to stand outside the shop & tell anyone going in there what had happened they can do nothing about it  .
(just be sure u are on the pathway outside) its a public right of way so u cannot be moved on by anyone. i did this to a car garage when they ripped me off flask of tea & a stool sorted.

I've always found Suzuki helpful, I suppose it depends what you want from them.
When complaining about dealers to Suzuki, remember you didn't buy anything from Suzuki and thus have no contract with them, you have a contract with the dealer, if Suzuki foul up by all means blame them, but don't go blaming the importer when they aren't involved in the transaction which is in dispute.

Have you tried contacting BBC's Watchdog programme ?
I'm sure they'd love some of the comments from this garage, and from Suzuki GB.
This garage is obviosly incompetent - you don't need to hack into the loom to sort out a starting (or any electrical) problem. They should replace the loom at their own cost, and refund you.

Good Luck

So... what's the latest? :?:

Gee, this situation sounds awful. Let RiDE magazine know, they publish dealer ratings every year and reach a large audience.

Other than that, go down the small claims route if the dealer won't settle with you. Photos are always good for evidence, and if you do go to the dealer to discuss anything, either record the conversation (get their permission, obviously!) or take someone as a witness.

Good luck!
