I'll check that too, one of these suggestions has got to sort this out.

After having major problems changing from 1st to 2nd on the way home tonigh I gave the linkage a good greasing tonight and took off the linkage rod, I'm assuming it is not supposed to be bent so straightened it. Took the bike for a quick ride and it seemed to be much better but still a little bit clonky so only time will tell!
