It's when you go shopping... Put lid, gloves and back protector in top box, bliss. Then when you get back, throw all your messages in the boot, no mucking about with bungees, no heavy rucksacks... Magic. Plus, there's a certain extra frisson to overtaking other bikes while top-boxed up.

Course, I take it off as soon as possible afterwards, and hide it ;)

shopping goes in my van or if im on my bike either down the front of my jacket or in my rucksack :D

I couldn't have one as long as the Taste Police are still active in my area. Besides, I'm too young, don't stink of pi55 and don't own a BMW.

My ex-burd used to call her shopping "messages" - gorgeous girl who was into rubber/latex and stuff like that, so I could forgive her abuse of my language.

well by the time im done ill have about an estimated 200 lb in my front end and shock upgrade so i might recommend that. i figured i could get a full exhaust or a or a complete suspension upgrade so thats my 2 cents worth
