Is it still leaking? I thought you had it replaced?

dizzyblonde 12-04-11 11:14 AM

Re: AR11 Chattanooga chit chat

If I'd have had it replaced it still would have done the same thing....they all do it at some point, I'll tell you some time. Theres over a six month waiting period to get a new one from Cagiva!

I had it repaired under warranty, and its gone 800 miles ish before it went pop last week. I was kinda hoping I was one of the minority that have them repaired and its 100% forever.....I was in the majority that don't :( Radweld is my friend.....when I get round to putting some in!

Well just put the tent up to make sure I understood the useless instructions. Glad I did, it is a bitch and defiantly requires 2. 5.5m x 2.4m and 2 m high

Even our double airbed fits in with room to spare, the other room for the daughter is "cozy". but nice that you can stand fully upright.

Now to work out how to pack it away as it has now rained

Really looking to hear your thoughts about, especially after your time on the Mille.

But that's a separate thread or a chat at the AR :)

I can't get the Friday off so I'll be trying to finish early (2ish) then heading home to grab my gear & then straight up from Sheffield.
Anyone heading up past/this way around that time re the ride up?

dizzyblonde 12-06-11 01:30 PM

Re: AR11 Chattanooga chit chat

won't take you long to get there, its a couple of hrs away from there.
Peeps will be arriving all night.

There are those who turn up at 3am.....it has been known!!

Re: AR11 Chattanooga chit chat

I'm sure there won't be anyone, but if there are people out there looking for a new tent to come up with then this months RiDE magazine (August 2011 edition) has a 15 tent group test. Not much on the cheap side of things, but there are four with an RRP below £100 and the Argos Value 2-man at just over £10 (which came last-equal with a tent 20 times the price). It still picked up a recommended tag though.

lol, its not impossible, we moved his entire house contents from Ipswich up the A1 in it :)
Back seat fold right over into the footwell, and the front passengers will either go forward or down. Worse case scenario they'll have to hang out of the barn window at the back.

Gutted.

This years AR is right on my doorstep but I'll be on our family holiday boating along the Norfolk broads that weekend.

Get the family on the boat then say - while slapping forehead - "ooops, I left the iron switched on, will just pop back home to turn it off", then arrive back in Norfolk on Sunday night and blame the bad traffic.

Tempting.

Its actually karma kicking me up the backside as I have tickets to see Iron Maiden the previous weekend. If I didn't have those we would of gone away the week before and I would be free for this.

Hey ho, its all booked and paid for now. I guess you can't have everything...

dizzyblonde 17-06-11 01:08 PM

Re: AR11 Chattanooga chit chat

where you seeing maiden Gordon? I know somebody else whose had to give up hope of the AR as they're at the 02 and he thinks he'll get too p1ssed there, to make it in one piece for the Sat night with us :(

Sheffield.

They've promised alot of the old school stuff which was sadly lacking last time out so should be a good night.

I can understand why they wouldn't to ride up after O2.

Warm, overpriced Carling has a lasting effect.....
