Did you do the whole course with Kent and Sussex rider training? Or just your test at the test centre?

Drumming_Animal 17-01-11 11:24 PM

Re: Where are you from?

Just my test, had lessons and Module 1 down here, then did my Module 2 in Tunbridge Wells. Only did it at Tunbridge Wells because everywhere else was full and i would have to wait a few weeks. Didnt do too badly seeing as i dont know any of Tunbridge Wells at all.

Stuuk1 18-01-11 09:13 AM

Having never even been on a bike before and me only learning because I had nothing better to do... I did the cbt and a couple of days training and passed my DAS with 3 minors which I didn't think was too bad!

Kent and Sussex biker training were brilliant and would recommend them to anyone!

Re: Where are you from?

Nicely done :D
I grabbed a 125 in the very early spring and went around on that for quite a while, got used to it pretty quick. Then in August decided to do my test but because i was too young to do the test with the 600 i had to do it on my 125. Passed it all first time. Couple of minors but still got it all so i was dead happy. And got used to the 650 quick when i jumped on the SV. In fact one of my instructers let me have a squirt on a Gladius while practising for the Module 1. Had no connection with me getting an SV though.
I did all my lessons with J.S Gedge, you may have heard of them, theyre quite well known down here, got a few dealers as well as doing training.

Welcome! I think you're fairly near the A262 and A264 which are good. Another good run is down to Rye, or you could try a run to Dungeoness?

Dave

Re: Where are you from?

The only routes i've done so far are A20 and A252 down to canterbury which is a good one. Also done trip to Rye through Headcorn on A274. Last time I rode the A262 I was on my 125 and my gearbox went, locked up back wheel on a bend through Biddenden, first experience of keeping the bike from tipping over and crashing though.

Anyone tried routes around Tunbridge wells area?
