I take it the windows were not put in by Everest then Craig. Cannot believe they've gone bust again, but then if they hacked off all their customers in the way they did me last year then it serves them right. But of course the very generous guarantee we got is now probably worthless...

Oh, and the moron next door has bought himself a new toy - this time it's a strimmer. Yep, another blinking loud petrol job of course. Thankfully it will break soon like the rest of the suff he buys as he does not maintain them.

Morning all. Another sunny day here, good to see the back of the endless rain for a while! I'm going to make the most of it and get some of the garden jobs done.

Yesterday was my gardening day which ended with the demise of my mower. It's lasted over 30 years so I can't complain. Today I'll be out on the bike as it's been two weeks since my last ride.

Not a great ride in the end. I thought I'd visit a couple of specialist mower shops which meant a lot of boring roads. Still at least it was warm.

Did you manage to find a mower? I spent the afternoon planting Yellow Rattle plug plants on the grass bank on the edge of the estate, and then preparing veg beds in the garden, so no ride for me unfortunately.

No I didn't. I've researched a few online but I want to see them in the flesh and I'd prefer to buy local if possible.
