A mate of mine masked his up and sprayed them white. Looks like a decent enough job but as you say really should be done right.

Aye. I'd get them properly done.
Its just the inconvenience because i'd be without my commuter and a hell of a lot of dosh down..

If your doing things while using the bike. It can work getting another set of wheels doing them up and sell the other ones
