Is the Hexanon lens good then?

Yes indeedy, 6 elements in 5 groups. Said to be very sharp, and consistent at all focal distances. That was the reason I got the Konica S, which is still awaiting a donor, or a buyer.

Just been perusing the Bay of Pigs, if you want a 6x6 folder then there are fewer cheap options than the 4.5x6 or 6x9 ones, but there are a couple of Welmy Sixes around, Franka Solida which would be good, Agilux Agifolds (British!), Isolettes, though as these are all old cameras, many of them have slow max shutter speeds like 1/200 and not very fast lenses, though not all by any means. Not seen anything worthy of note on Gumtree for a while except a Welmy Six over in Wales. Depends on your budget, if you'll spend more than a tenner or not.

Cool, will take a look. Got my eye on something else but will see if any bids appear on this one.

Didn't go for it in the end. Donated about six cameras which I won't use again. Got a new px625 battery for the VF135 and the meter now works. Loaded up the Agfa Solinette and nearly opened the back on the Speedex to load film but noticed tape over the window. Already loaded!

No worries, just saw it and thought you might be interested. Am sometime soonish going to clean up my Zeiss Ikon Contessa LBE 35mm rangefinder and sell it, probably for about £25, if you're interested. Tessar 50mm f2.8, 1/15-1/500th, hot shoe with X sync. Nice.

Still wondering what to do with the Sequelle. Applying power directly to the motor shows some life. Thinking the shutter is jammed but no idea how to strip it down to free it off.

Didn't win the other camera I was going for. It was a Ricoh Auto Half. Just loaded up the Lomo Diana F+, Voigtlander Brillant, Kodak Flashmite with Ektar 100. I had unloaded the Ektar from the Coronet before donating it and transfered it into the Ensign Ful Vue. Just got the Pentax P30t with the Helios 44M lens and the VF135 sat on my desk waiting for film. The day is sunny and clear so may go do some shooting.

Holy carp

Re the Sequelle, short of googling all the stuff you've done already, I wouldn't know where to start looking. Am currently doing battle with the Super Ikonta, which is a euphemism for, I've damaged it while working on it like a ham-fisted tool and now have to deal with the consequences. AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHHH.

What happened when you tried to "fix" it?
