Very. It's not like I need further adjustment or the performance upgrade but I do much prefer the looks of usd forks.

Looks good, out of interest, what have you told your insurance company? My insurance almost doubled when I told them I had a GSXR front end.

I've not told them anything yet! But i will be very soon. The plan was to get all major modifications done before notifying my insurance. I will be listing everything so will be interesting to see what its gonna cost :S

Il let ya know

mine didn't increase, as it didn't increase the performance, but it'll vary from company to company

Nice to know. I was hoping, as the bike has now improved handling and braking up front and the lack of fairing "potentially" slowing me down, that the insurance quote would reflect that. But i know things don't usually work out that way.

It's not so much that the premium increased it's just that the cheaper companies wont touch modified bikes.

Thanks :)

This weekend i took on the task of mounting my headlight closer to the forks, which required alot of chopping and drilling! And also managed to mount and partially wire in my new KOSO gauge (speedo, indicator and high beams working so far). Id have liked to mount the gauge fully into the headlight casing but theres nowhere near enough room. Although i dont think it looks to bad as it is.

Looking good!

I had a koso DB-01 gauge on the pointy but gave up on figuring out the fuel gauge indication. You won't be able to use the fuel gauge as such due to the sensor in the tank being ON/OFF, so you'll just have the low level warning if that gauge is similar.

The sensor on the pointy fuel tank changes resistance depending on fuel level, again I can't remember the exact ohms for full and empty.

This weekend the tank, seat cowl and mud guard got removed and dropped off to the sprayer for painting :) Should hopefully have them back in a week.

Just need to order some white vinyl for the stripes. Unsure whether to go for a matt or gloss finish. I think the gloss will be easier to keep clean but the matt might look good against the gloss blue finish. Hmmm

Here's another pic of the cowl and mud guard removed, looks decent i think :)

Looks very nice without the mud guard, its a shame the front cylinder would last about 30 seconds in a downpour without it though :(
