MOT'd the ZXR, so rode it to work (about a mile). I think I need to go & see a contortionist to see how to ride it :p. Looks as though it may have either a fuelling problem, or valve guide seals are going as she lets out a puff of smoke on full choke which vanishes as soon as it arrives once the choke is taken off.

a bit off topic but hey ho...
i've watched a few navy ships go round and round in circles getting degaussed just off Burntisland when i stayed there. i thought WTF are they up too till i asked a local and they told me the reason.

I appreciate the offer.
I think the key to childhood dreams is to keep them like that and not spoil the dream with the reality of rattles, breakdowns, oil leaks and a wife with no sense of awe.
