Hello....I'm back home.........got back at half 6 as predicted.

Set up the tent again in the conservatory to dry, as it flooded itself over night, got totally wet......hot happy!

Cheers to Jester for the LED camp light, that was great! Super brightness.

Sorry to letting peeps down as for not joining down for the M6, i was sweating in my waterproof trousers and boiling up in my jacket! Just didn't fancy any more rain...........guess what..... it **** down in torrential rain 4 times! Got 184 miles on the tank as I approcahed Birmingham for only 1 fuel stop. Hit the M25 and opened the throttle up and it was good dry blast. Lot of filtering was needed, as 2 accidents happen.

Thanks for a good weekend, friday night was good in the bar, sorry I didn't join on Saturday night (just after BBQ) as my hearing aid got totally wet and drowned out.

Cheers to Bear and Deeas for dismantling my tent, and thanks to KrazyKim for taking my wonky luggage that Jambo thought that was deemed not safe!

And thanks to all the organsiers!

Cheers

Me, Sid Squid and Treacle peeled off from the other Soho-ers on the M6, Dans repair was holding up fine. Managed to stop at a petrol station 15 mins from home for a loo break, walked in, realised I'd left my helmet on my bike and turned straight round to find that somewhere in that 8 foot space and 5 second time frame had lost my bike keys.

looked for them for 15 minutes, then had to call Emergency Girlfriend Rescue to bring me a spare...

So, it ****ed down all weekend, my alarm went crazy, i got a screw in my back tyre, I lost my keys on the way home, and I was interrupted in my attempt to make sweet love to Grinch.

Oh, and most of the org now know what i look like when I urinate...

Best Biking weekend EVER!!!!!!!!!

Love you all!

The Bear

I'm back too. Took a bit of a detour via Snake Pass but it was too wet for any real fun when loaded up with kit, but the rain gave way to beaming sunshine for the final 80 or so miles so the TL really did get a thrashing back through Buxton, Ashbourne, etc.

Had a fantastic weekend, thanks to all, can't wait until next year.
