Agreed modern belt drive is very very efficient and quiet, id have a belt drive anyday, plus it if snaps its got much less chance of locking your back wheel up or taking your leg off.

My dream SV is my bike, with a fuel injected motor just because of the idling issue when the engine is cold, in winter.

And possibly some more adjustment on the suspension to make the bike a little more capable of cornering when im two-up with full luggage

Other than that, i love my SV the way it is :D

I was riding behind a Buell that lost it`s belt drive , wasn`t a pretty sight and my mate just about kept it upright with his mrs on the back . I`ll take my chances with a good old metal chain anyday of the week . I know there is now going to be a debate about the merits and minuses of both but put it this way ........ if you see somebody get eaten by a shark , you can`t convince them that sharks are really ok and groovy kind of dudes just going about their business .

Long story short , the replacement/fitting costs on the Buell were so high that my mate didn`t bother and sold it as it was and bought a GSXR .
