Make weapons out of it? Sometimes a hardened tungsten-cobalt alloy just isn't enough.

I disagree. How often do most of us ride more than 150 miles in a day? For a commuter bike it would be perfect. Just charge it up at night, or at work during the day (my company already has electric vehicle charging bays).

Of course, when you actually do have to ride more than 150 miles, you're stuffed. I still wouldn't mind one as a commuter, just not this one - it's too ugly.
