Re: Specialone not so special anymore !
The last couple of offs I've had I have been back on the same day.
Thankfully I was not injured, as this sort of "ach, be reet" helps a lot in getting back up to speed. The last one, I rode home, fixed the bike, rode to dizzyblondes to nick a footpeg, bought a new lid on the way back. Then went 180 miles down to Aber to see MYC. Get the hell on with it! |

I went on mine for the first time today and can tell my confidence has been knocked, but gear lever is positioned too high so I think that has some dabble in it. |

I think you'll be fine after 5 mins back in the saddle and you put the anxiety to the back of your mind. Your ability will take over im sure. Ive lost some confidence in the corners for obvious reasons but i was forced to ride the last 70 miles home straight after so that helped me i think. Hope it all goes ok when you do. Phil |

Re: Specialone not so special anymore !
Bit of update really,
Been out and done 30 -40 miles just and it looks like the forks are ok, ran straight, still think there is a slight bend in bars but can live with that for now. I was a bit over cautious on the corners at first and probably still not back to where i was but still enjoyed giving it 10k rpm in 1,2 and 3. :D My off keeps going through my mind a bit when cornering thinking is my tyre gonna go on me. Had a little slide going 180 on a island but it was just a bit slippy road conditions that didnt really unnerve me too much. Phil |
