What pads you planning on using?

I just put some new 4 pad bremos's which are mean. :) think these duff discs are crappy though :(

4 pads per caliper how the **** does that work?

Armstrong HH pads'll do me, didn't notice any detriment between them and EBC HH ...so at under half the price i'm happy.

Each pair of pistons gets its own pair of pads.

It is nice way for EBC to make more money... oh I mean reduce twisting forces on the pads to reduce self-servo effect ;)

Would like a set of those, but have you seen how much a set of pads is for them? I've heard around a £100 :smt088

Yeah,1 pad per piston. A company called Harrison Billet make lovely brakes, which use 6 pads per caliper. Had one on my Harley. Always wanted a pair of Mini 6's for the SV, but the cost was prohibitive.

Yeah, nice kit.

Looking at their 4 pots they're about £500 for pair, seem cheaper than I expected actually, since you can pay £250 or so just for a set of discs!

Some goin here; or EBC... £66 sounds ok for them tbh, especially like you say when the online shops at over £90 delivered!

They are worth it imo, mine do feel great even with part worn pads and knackered disc's...

Can get these cheap but I have no idea what they are!? EBC for all 8 pads looks like about £90  Oh well, thats what you get when you want the best I guess. :(

What's point of best calipers and pads ever if you still on stock master cyl?

wooah just googled it, thought it was typo!
Never knew they existed.

For anyone's information who's bothered and to give you an idea how p1ss poor the previous discs were :- since fitting the new discs my full useable lever travel has returned. i.e the lever doesn't go back to the bar any more.

Well, I been keeping an eye on a radial master but none come up at a half reasonable price (£150+ is a bit steep atm for me). Besides the stock master is pretty decent for the moment :)

You will have paid more than price of an RCS in premium you get done for on brake pads by time you have ridden a year :-P

Unless you rarely use brakes, in which case why upgrade then :smt120
