Re: Tottenham Riots
It's all kicking off again now - just seen about 20 riot vans and other black american style police vans go bombing past me in Blackheath.

Re: Tottenham Riots
Feel sorry for you guys in London.
Hope none of you are caught up in any of the affected areas. I wish the press would stop referring to these people as protestors. They're not, they're vandals or terrorists to slightly stretch the word. And now it's moved to Birmingham City Centre. |
Re: Tottenham Riots
Aparantly theres a massive gang of hoddies smashing the **** out of Thamesmead, and its almost been levelled. damage estimates have been quoted at £11.32.
But seriously, this is getting out of control. Think I had better start boarding the house up. |

If these riots keep breaking out in areas of London, I wouldn't be surprised if water cannons or more end up being incorporated into police tactics. I'm all for water cannons, though if I saw some scummy hobo burning down my house I'd want more than a water cannon. |
Re: Tottenham Riots
If these riots get out of hand by going on daily and spreading to other big towns whilst the police can't contain it, looks like it'll be army reserves/redeployment and/or curfew.
At the moment it's rioters 3 - police - 0 |
Re: Tottenham Riots
Tear Gas, Water Cannon and Rubber Bullets.
If all else fails...Live Rounds. |
Re: Tottenham Riots
Wave vacant job applications at them, that should disperse them.

Re: Tottenham Riots
So glad i live up north. Feel sorry for all the decent people that are being effected by this. I also feel sorry for the coppers and other emergency services who aren't trained for this.
